Challenge - Inaccessible areas required cleaning to maintain good levels of hygiene
A large NHS rehabilitation centre required deep cleaning of its on-site facilities. The facility features complex medical wings, highlighting the importance of hygiene, but there were also several challenges to be considered:
- Inaccessible heights: The gym ceilings were too high to reach with standard cleaning methods. Over time, this had led to a significant build-up of dust.
- Stringent security processes: The facility maintains a high level of security and requires strict vetting for anyone working on site.
- Expansive areas: The customer required disinfection of its large on-site gym and an Olympic-size pool.
- Tight deadlines: The facility shuts down for only one week each year, providing a seven-day deadline to complete the cleaning.

Specialist Rope Access Equipment: To tackle the extreme heights above the pool and gym halls, rope access equipment was utilised. This allowed the team to safely clean areas that were otherwise inaccessible.
Innovative Disinfection Methods: The gym and pool halls received in-depth disinfection. Our teams deployed UV disinfection methods to thoroughly and effectively reach large surface areas.
