A humidifier works by adding moisture to the air, which can accelerate mould growth, as mould thrives in high humidity (above 50–60%). A dehumidifier removes excess moisture to stop growth, while an air purifier removes the airborne spores.

Do Air Purifiers get rid of mould?
Air purifiers get rid of airborne mould spores, but they do not destroy active mould growing on walls, grout or furniture. Existing physical mould has to be treated first by being cleaned and sanitising must be scrubbed and remediated at the source.

How do HEPA Filters work?
