Hygiene Healthcheck

Are you trying to get an outbreak under control?

Are you struggling with absenteeism?

Are you concerned about the cleaning standard of your premises?

A surface can look clean but be full of microbiological pathogens. In an event of an outbreak, these pathogens can contribute to the continued spread of illness. Our Hygiene Healthcheck service uses ATP swabbing to visualise the microbiological landscape of your premises. This allows for strategic cleaning, which could save you both time and money.

What is a Hygiene Healthcheck

In addition to the serious risk to public health if your business is affected by an outbreak,  it can also have a serious impact on your business - reduced earnings, negative reviews and unforeseen closures. In education, an outbreak may have a severe impact on working parents and also result in the added cost of supply teachers to cover for ill staff. In order to make the best decisions about your cleaning regime, whether it be for regular cleaning, or in the event of an outbreak, understanding your microbiological landscape is key.

What is ATP Swabbing?

ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is a molecule found within living cells that gives a measure of biological concentration. It is quantified by measuring the light produced through its reaction with Luciferase using a luminometer - the amount of light produced is directly proportional to the amount of energy present in the sample. By using an ATP swab on a surface that appears clean, it can detect levels of biological life that is not visible to the human eye.
