Under the ACoP, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the safe operation of their water system. There is also a duty to maintain their system so it remains compliant both with ACoP guidelines and HSE regulations. The Rentokil Watersafe Management system is tailored to meet those specific needs thus ensuring the water system satisfies all requirements. In addition Rentokil Hygiene will carry out regular monitoring and auditing of the systems to ensure your complete peace of mind.

Reporting
Our services also prove due diligence through a valuable management reporting system that meets all ACoP requirements with the Rentokil on-site logbook providing a record of every action taken on the premises. Customers with multi-site responsibilities also benefit from the Watersafe Compliance Mangement System, our online service that offers real time and database driven, 24-hour access to service provision, non-compliance and remedial action reports. When using this system our technicians carry out task reporting using a GPRS enabled PDA, which ensures that no tasks are missed and enables the immediate upload of the task results and any recommendations for remedial action. This service uses the most up-to-date technology and is a “must-have” for councils and other multi-site organisations. Our use of modern technology for Risk Assessments, Schematics and reporting, ensures a high quality, standardised approach.

Water treatment
Rentokil Hygiene is a specialist provider of chemical analysis and treatment of water systems. Our Water Treatment Technical Consultants offer advice and services covering cooling tower maintenance, closed systems, boilers, air handling units and other similar systems.

Chemical development and deliveries
Rentokil develop and deliver, at no extra cost, our own maintenance chemicals, which are thoroughly tested to provide effective management of any water system. These chemicals, properly used, will ensure sustained safe operation, longevity and efficiency of the system, whatever its maintenance needs may be.

Closed system maintenance
Regular maintenance schedules are carefully planned by our specialist Water Treatment Technical Consultants, ensuring all requirements are covered. Regular analysis of systems, along with adjustments to the treatment regime, are carried our by our consultants to provide customers with a quality service fully supported by one of the largest and most trusted service companies in the world.

Cooling tower maintenance This is a particularly high-risk area for businesses and is the subject of the extremely stringent ACoP L8. That code is fully understood by Rentokil Hygiene and covered by our Watersafe Management system. From specialist cleaning to water treatment and analysis, we will guide you to ensure all HSE requirements are satisfied. It is important to emphasise that our specialist technicians and consultants in this area are all certificated in safe confined space entry, chemical use, and Legionella awareness.
